Optima Health in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Physician to deliver a comprehensive range of occupational health services. You will provide expert clinical advice to employees and management within a supportive team environment, with ongoing professional development.

The role involves Fitness for Work assessments, health surveillance, reports, and guidance on complex cases. Full UK driving licence and DOccMed are essential; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DOccMed) or equivalent.
• Active CPD, appraisal and revalidation participation.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• UK driving licence and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive occupational health services and provide expert clinical advice.
• Conduct Management Referrals and produce high-quality reports.
• Deliver Fitness for Work Assessments and Medicals.
• Undertake Health Surveillance and advise on fitness for continued work.
• Support complex case reviews and case conferences.
