Qualifications

  • Registered Occupational Health Nurse Adviser, General Nurse on Part 1 or Part 3 of the NMC register.
  • Qualifications in occupational health (diploma, degree, MSc).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in IT and knowledge of legislation and GDPR compliance.

Overview

Leading by example, with a strong background in health surveillance and recent relevant experience, you will supervise our dedicated Occupational Health Technicians, ensuring service quality is maintained to the highest standards. You will manage employee health records in compliance with legal requirements and maintain data collection and reporting.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments aligned with standards and protocols, including health surveillance, fitness‑to‑work evaluations, management referrals, and more.
  • Prepare precise reports in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines, offering insights on fitness for work and necessary adjustments while upholding confidentiality.
  • Act as liaison between Occupational Health, Human Resources, and Line Managers to address emerging issues and trends collaboratively.
  • Supervise Occupational Health Technicians and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Monitor performance and achieve key objectives through data collection and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Registered Occupational Health Nurse Adviser, General Nurse on Part 1 or Part 3 of the NMC register.
  • Qualifications in occupational health (diploma, degree, MSc).
