Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a special interest in Obstetrics to join our established team at Bedford Hospital. You will contribute to high-quality obstetric and gynaecological services and help drive improvements in patient care and clinical outcomes.

Mansioni

Providing consultant-led obstetric and gynaecological care in outpatient, theatre, labour ward and emergency settings.
Participating in the consultant on-call rota, including labour ward Hot Week and weekend on-call commitments.
Supporting the delivery of 74.5 hours of consultant presence on the delivery suite and contributing to labour ward rounds and MDT meetings.
Working closely with colleagues to maintain and develop high-quality maternity and gynaecology services, ensuring safe, effective and compassionate patient care.
Contributing to clinical governance, guideline development, quality improvement, audit, teaching and training activities within the department.
Supporting undergraduate and postgraduate education and helping to develop the future workforce.
Participating in service development, incident investigations and departmental leadership initiatives that support continuous improvement in women's health services.
