Job summary

Oxford Natural Healthcare Professionals is seeking an experienced Sonographer (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) to join their expanding private network in the UK. The role covers scanning across obstetrics and gynaecology, delivering safe, compassionate care and accurate results for patients and families.

The successful candidate will have HCPC registration, SoR membership, GMPPI insurance and a strong track record in obstetric/gynaecological ultrasound, including 6–40 week scans.

Qualifications

• HCPC Registered required.
• Current SoR membership required.
• Professional indemnity insurance required.
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound.
• Experience scanning from 6–40 weeks gestation.
• Competent in internal and external scanning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations.
• Produce clear, clinically appropriate images using recognised techniques.
• Provide reassurance and information to patients and families throughout the process.
• Identify and escalate potential fetal anomalies as per protocol.
• Refer to NHS or specialist services when required.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical and administrative records.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely per standards.
• Support training and development of colleagues.
