Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in Gloucester is seeking a highly skilled Obstetric Gynaecology and General Sonographer to join our client on a Band 7 basis. You will perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations in Gynaecology and General imaging, delivering high-quality diagnostic reports and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires HCPC registration, proven experience in Gynae and General ultrasound (with obstetric scanning desirable), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Sonographer or relevant professional body.
• Experience in Gynaecology and General ultrasound (essential).
• Experience in Obstetric scanning (desirable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations in Gynaecology and General imaging.
• Provide high-quality diagnostic reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the scanning process.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
