Job summary

A leading global technology consultant is seeking an O2C Business Transformation Manager to guide clients through technology-enabled transformations. You will be responsible for refining business operations and ensuring successful project deliverables. The ideal candidate has over 9 years of experience in financial processes within the Order-to-Cash domain and demonstrated leadership in project management, encompassing both ERP and non-ERP tools.

Qualifications

  • 9+ years experience in Order-to-Cash processes.
  • FMCG experience preferred (2-3 years).
  • 3+ years in Project Stream Lead roles.
  • Knowledge of Intelligent Automation and RPA.

About the job you’re considering

As an integral part of Capgemini’s IFAO Project & Consulting Team, you will help guide our Clients towards large-scale transformations using automation and technology solutions at the very forefront of innovation in the C2C area. You will shape the future of business operations and take responsibility for fine-tuning and orchestrating technology-enabled transformation projects. We seek focused and inspired individuals who can build close, trusting relationships that are key to delivering seamless transitions and transformations for Clients.

Your role
  • Participate in process and technology transformation projects within Finance, supporting Transformation Consultants and Transformation Managers in the development of agreed project deliverables for internal and external Clients.
  • Contribute to projects related to target operating model design, process design, process and technology maturity assessment, benchmarking, GBS / SSC setup, automation potential assessment, ERP/Platform solutions implementation, RPA implementation, transition, training delivery, change management and similar. Apply methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma / DGEM Benchmarking / ESOAR to drive continuous improvement and transformation.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and trusted advisor for the client in the area of expertise. Stay informed about technology developments and suggest process and technology improvements within the given area.
  • Act as a Stream Lead or Project Lead with accountability for high quality deliverables with limited guidance. Own project deliverables, document process challenges, potential improvements and benefits, report outcomes, or build business cases. Conduct Quality Assurance on deliverables from junior team members and coach other project team members.
  • Analyze data from the Client and provide improvement recommendations to steer the transformation journey.
  • Additional requirements include experience in one or more areas related to supply chain processes and integration, such as Demand forecasting, IBP, scenario planning, logistics, warehousing, and Order-to-Cash flows.
Your skills and experience
  • Proven experience (at least 9 years) with strong process knowledge within finance in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) domain (Order Management, Billing, Credit Management, Cash Application, Collections, Disputes).
  • Proven experience in FMCG (CPG) is preferred (2-3 years).
  • Experience in one of the following roles for at least 3 years: Project Stream Lead / Solution Lead with accountability for project deliverables, team, and timeline.
  • Experience in process documentation (process flows, narratives, operating procedures, control frameworks) preparation.
  • Experience in process mapping in Visio or similar tools (BPMN notation awareness).
  • Continuous improvement, client value and innovation mindset with proven benefits delivered.
  • Good communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate solutions clearly in presentations.
  • Experience in leading and facilitating workshops and meetings; client-facing roles with frequent interactions.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in at least one ERP (S4H, SAP ECC, or Oracle).
  • Good understanding or implementation experience of non-ERP process supporting tools within C2C (e.g., Blackline, HighRadius, Serrala SaaS platforms).
  • Good understanding of Intelligent Automation and Robotic Process Automation, including Gen AI & Agentic.
  • Strong understanding and experience in GBS/SSC/BPO operating models and industry.
  • Experience in process and technology benchmarking, and ability to articulate business cases for change and implementation.
  • Consulting skills including hypothesis-driven analysis, collaborative meeting management, data collection and diagnostics, storytelling and storyboarding.
  • Proactive and self-reliant with limited supervision and fluent spoken and written English.
Nice to have
  • ERP or non-ERP process-supporting tools experience, hands-on with S/4HANA environment and implementation programs.
  • Project management certification.
  • Relevant domain certifications (e.g., CIMA, CPA, ACCA, CIPS, CPSM, CSCP or similar).
  • Logistics and Transportation experience.
