Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an ST3+ doctor to join the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department for an 11-month fixed-term post. The role involves clinical care, supervising junior staff, on-call duties, clinics, theatre sessions and ward management with day consultant cover on site.

GMC registration, MRCOG Part 1 and NHS experience are required. Candidates will work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to training and coordinating care across services while

Qualifikationen

• Medical degree from a GMC-recognised university.
• Completion of foundation training.
• MRCOG Part 1.

Aufgaben

• Clinical care of patients delegated by consultants.
• Co-responsibility for department functioning and supervising junior medical staff.
• Assess patients in clinics and make treatment decisions with consultant input.
• Attend theatre sessions with consultants and assist or perform procedures.
• Run wards with on-site consultant cover by day and off-site after hours.
• Participate in the on-call rota.
• Teaching and training staff in multidisciplinary teams.
