Job summary

Brainkind is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant in Glasgow to support daily meal preparation for service users. You will work with the Chef to ensure nutritious meals are prepared with high hygiene standards.

Shifts run from 10am to 3pm, with a pay rate of £13.91 per hour. Training and support are provided, and you will join a dedicated team focused on compassionate care for people with brain injuries.

Qualifications

• Food safety and hygiene practices essential.
• Able to assist with meal preparation and cooking.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to deliver nutritious meals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and preparing varied menus with balanced nutrition.
• Ensure storage, preparation and cooking meet hygiene standards.
• Storage and use of cleaning items in line with COSHH guidelines.
