Job summary

St Edward’s Prep School & Nursery in Reading is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our EYFS team. You will provide care and education for children aged 2–5, plan play-based learning, and build warm relationships with families.

We offer term-time or year-round roles, 40 hours per week, a salary of £14.00 per hour (£29,120 per year), outstanding CPD, 25 days leave, pension and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Early Years Education required.
• You will be warm, nurturing and relational.
• You are passionate about Early Years and child development.
• You are creative, reflective and enthusiastic.
• Confident with play-based and child-led learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care and education for children aged 2–5.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences.
