Liverpool John Moores University invites applications for a Lecturer in the School of Nursing, Public and Allied Health. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing education across programmes while supporting students through excellent pastoral and professional guidance.

You will contribute to curriculum development, engage in scholarship and professional development, and foster strong links with practice settings to ensure relevance and impact in health education.

Qualifications

• Be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Hold an honours degree and a postgraduate qualification (or equivalent professional experience).
• Have experience of teaching in higher education or delivering professional training in practice settings.
• Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive and student-centred learning.
• Be able to inspire, motivate and support students from a wide range of backgrounds.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be committed to continuing professional development and maintaining professional registration.
• Experience in curriculum development, module leadership and the use of digital technologies to support learning would be advantageous.
