Job Title: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: Up to £60,000
Job Type: Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Home Manager for a modern, large care facility in Wolverhampton, renowned for its excellent reviews. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in turnaround management to address areas requiring improvement. This role demands strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of care standards, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the nursing home.
  • Implement strategies for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain high levels of resident satisfaction and care quality.
  • Develop and manage budgets effectively.
Qualifications
  • Experience in nursing home management.
  • Strong turnaround experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • In-depth understanding of care standards and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing a nursing or residential home or similar regulated service, a strategic thinker with a proactive mindset, and with excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health & Social Care.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and the Single Assessment Framework.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and care management software used within the home (e.g., electronic care planning, rostering, incident reporting systems).
  • Enhanced DBS check required and registration with the CQC as a responsible individual, to be completed by the company.
