  • Responsible for budgets, recruitment, and training.

Overview

Home Manager required for a Good rated Nursing, residential and dementia care home. This is a medium sized home which is part of a regional provider of Good rated nursing homes. Our client requires an experienced Home Manager that is nurse qualified to become their CQC registered manager for their home that is running well as a G5 rated service in the Newcastle area. This is a role where as an experienced or ambitious manager you will be seeking to move the home to the next level of Outstanding.

Requirements
  • Nurse qualification and valid NMC Pin
  • Senior leadership experience in a care home or complex nursing setting
  • Experience within the Older People\'s care home sector
  • Experience and or training in dementia care, neuro-disability, and tracheostomy care is required
Responsibilities
  • Leadership and registration as CQC Manager
  • Team leadership and management
  • Responsibility for all functions including care needs, budgets and financial controls
  • Recruitment, retention and training
  • Management of Clinical risk and end of life care
