Job description

Bright Selection are pleased to be supporting a regional care home operator in the appointment of an experienced Home Manager for one of their successful homes in mid Lincolnshire. This is a large home which has been established in the area for some time. The home provides nursing, residential and dementia care and has an excellent and long term clinical team. The new manager will be supported in post by an experienced clinical lead who is looking forward to working in partnership to develop the home. This role offers the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding and well-resourced provider with a lovely culture.

Requirements
  • Nursing Qualification – desired but not essential
  • Proven track record of managing a Good rated care home
  • Positive and engaging leadership style
  • L5 / L4 Management or equivalent qualification
  • Proven ability in budget preparation and control
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation
Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the highest level of care standards are maintained at all times through quality assurance monitoring
  • Maintain a proactive and positive approach to complaints
  • Ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision
  • Recruit, develop and train staff within QCF framework
  • Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines
  • Assist in setting the annual budget for the home, monitor and control budgets on an ongoing basis
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies and plans
  • Market and promote the business to external agencies and within the wider community

Remuneration: Salary offered in the region of £70,000 - £75,000 plus benefits.
