Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is recruiting a Nursing Associate for Ward 17 Respiratory at The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford. This permanent Band 4 role is offered as either full-time or part-time, with a standard 37.5-hour week.

You will work under the supervision of registered nurses, delivering holistic care, assisting with assessments, and supporting patients and families. Applicants should be NHS NMC-registered or in the final year of the Student Nursing Associate

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register or in the 2nd year of the Student Nursing Associate programme.
• Educated to a minimum of Foundation degree level in nursing associate practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, person-centred care for patients of all ages.
• Work under supervision of registered nurses following conduct standards.
• Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate with sensitivity and compassion, building patient relationships.
• Flexibly meet service needs, supporting a range of clinical settings.
