Job summary

WWL is recruiting a Nursing Associate to work with a multi-professional team and Registered Nurses, delivering and monitoring care in line with service pathways. The role bridges the gap between support workers and RNs, operating independently under supervision.

Essentially, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care, undertake routine procedures and contribute to admission/discharge planning, with emphasis on NMC standards and patient dignity.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate with Foundation Degree and NMC registration.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Ability to provide evidence-based care under supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide and deliver high-quality nursing care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Undertake routine procedures and monitor vital signs and patient condition.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with policy and NMC Code.
• Engage with other agencies and community teams for safe admissions and discharges.
