Seashell Trust in Cheadle Hulme (Stockport) is hiring two Nursing Associates to support daily healthcare delivery, monitoring and clinical interventions for students with complex needs. The role involves building strong relationships with students, families and professionals and delivering health-related training under a registered nurse.
Applicants should hold a Nursing Associate Foundation Degree and NMC registration, with Level 2 English and Maths and experience in complex health care

- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children, young people or adults with complex health needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding principles.
Responsibilities
- Contribute towards high-quality, person-centred healthcare and support the effective operation of the nursing service.
- Build robust relationships with students, families, education staff, therapy teams and external professionals.
- Assist with the delivery of health-related training where appropriate and under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
- Support a designated programme of student mental health and wellbeing interventions under the direction of the Registered Nurse and wider multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the implementation and review of healthcare plans through information gathering and health monitoring.
- Support the development of health knowledge and awareness amongst education and support staff.

The Trust comprises of the Royal School Manchester, the Royal College Manchester, 17 bespoke Residential Care Homes, Outreach Health and Family Services. We provide expert Residential care and Education for children and young people with severe, profound, and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, sensory impairments, communication disorders and autism.
We're looking for two experienced Nursing Associates who will support the day-to-day delivery of healthcare, health monitoring, health facilitation, health promotion and clinical interventions for students with complex needs.
- Contribute towards high-quality, person-centred healthcare and support the effective operation of the nursing service
- Build robust relationships with students, families, education staff, therapy teams and external professionals
- Assist with the delivery of health-related training where appropriate and under the guidance of a Registered Nurse
