Overview

We’re looking for compassionate and caring Nursing Assistants to join Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) on a fast‑paced trauma and orthopaedic ward (Ward A3). You will provide high‑quality patient‑focused care across day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support patients with personal care needs: mobilisation, toileting, bathing, dressing, eating and drinking.
  • Record patient observations and note changes in condition.
  • Assist the nursing team with delegated clinical duties under the supervision of Registered Nurses and within Trust guidelines.
Training & Progression

You will undertake On‑Job Training opportunities and a Support Worker Development Programme. Completion gives you the opportunity to progress to a Band 3 Nursing Assistant role. Experienced Assistants will complete a skills analysis and receive relevant clinical skills modules to support progression.
