Job summary

A leading nursery group in Sutton-in-Ashfield is looking for a Nursery Third in Charge / Room Leader. You will supervise children's development and ensure adherence to EYFS requirements. The ideal candidate has a Level 3 Early Years qualification and proven experience in a similar role. Qualifications

  • Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years or higher required.
  • Proven experience in Early Years settings is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support preschool children’s development.
  • Conduct child observations and maintain development records.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies on safeguarding.

Tinies are actively assisting a Nursery in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottingham to recruit a Nursery Third in Charge / Room Leader, for a 134 place, Ofsted rated “Outstanding” Nursery. The Nursery is modern, and purpose built to create a safe and secure homely environment for the children who attend.

Nursery Third in Charge / Room Leader from £25,000 depending on experience

40 hours per week Monday and Friday

Responsibilities
  • Proven experience working with children of preschool ages.
  • Fully up to date with the requirements of the EYFS.
  • Conduct child observations.
  • Update development records.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Have experience in a senior position.
  • Have a desire and passion to support children's progress and development.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and other colleagues.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding children and staff.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher.
  • Experience working in Early Years Settings.
