Job summary

Kids Planet Penwortham is seeking a confident Third in Charge to join our nursery team and help drive day-to-day operations in line with EYFS standards.

You will support managers, lead and mentor staff, and nurture a positive, collaborative culture across the setting. You will build strong relationships with children and families to support development, wellbeing, and an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 UK early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive safeguarding knowledge.
• Leadership experience in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the nursery and high-quality care in line with EYFS.
• Assist in leading and supporting teams to maintain a collaborative environment.
• Build strong relationships with children and families to support development and wellbeing.

Job description

By supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality care in line with the EYFS.

By assisting in leading and supporting teams, helping to maintain a positive, collaborative, and professional environment.

Through building and maintaining strong relationships with children and families, supporting their development and wellbeing while contributing to a nurturing and inclusive setting.

Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.

Excellent understanding of EYFS.

Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.

Leadership experience within a nursery setting.
