A local educational institution in Walsall is seeking a passionate Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their new provision for two-year-olds. This role involves supporting children's development and building family relationships in a nurturing atmosphere. Candidates should hold at least an NVQ Level 2 in childcare and have experience working with young children. This position offers the chance to make a positive impact in a friendly community. We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our brand-new Little Lanterns provision for two-year-olds, part of our school nursery. This exciting new provision launches in January 2026, and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the environment and experiences for our youngest learners from the very beginning.
Working under the guidance of the Room Leader, you will support the delivery of high-quality care and learning, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing setting. Your role will include assisting with engaging activities, supporting children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and building positive relationships with families.
