A local primary academy in Burntwood is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their team. The role is part-time with a fixed term contract until August 2026, offering a competitive salary. NURSERY TEACHER
Salary: Teachers Main scale £32,916 - £45,350 per annum. Actual salary £16,458 - £22,675 per annum
Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2026 (could be extended beyond this)
Hours: Part time, 16.25 hrs per week (morning session + PPA)
Start Date: 1st January 2026

Ridgeway is a successful 2 form entry primary school in Chasetown. We currently have 417 pupils on roll in the main school and a further 200 children accessing Early Years provision in our term time Ridgeway Tots twos group and Sunbeams Nursery and Sunny Days Nursery, which is open all year.
Ridgeway Primary Academy has an excellent reputation and provides a lively and creative environment in which to work. School received a further ‘Good’ rating from OFSTED at our last inspection in December 2024 and Sunny Days in July 2024. Ridgeway Primary Academy is one of the founding schools in the Primitas Learning Partnership, a cross phase MAT serving the local area which opened in September 2021. Currently there are seven schools within the partnership; two high schools, four primary schools and a special school. The Trust provides opportunities for the schools to work collaboratively to support school improvement.
