Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working with a highly regarded 3-form entry primary school in Southall, seeking an experienced Nursery Teacher to join their early years team from November 2024 for the remainder of the academic year.

About the Role

The school is looking for a confident, experienced Nursery Teacher with a passion for Early Years education. You'll work collaboratively within a large, well-supported team to deliver engaging and nurturing learning experiences for pupils. The class has an experienced support team, and the role includes:

  • Planning and delivering creative and stimulating EYFS lessons.
  • Leading and supporting a team of Nursery practitioners and teaching assistants.
  • Observing, assessing, and tracking pupil progress in line with EYFS outcomes.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and attending staff meetings and INSETs.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Early Years qualification.
  • Proven experience working in a Nursery or EYFS environment.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
