Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term until July 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced EYFS practitioner ready to lead a well-established Nursery class? GSL Education Manchester is recruiting on behalf of a Tameside primary school with a fantastic reputation for inclusion, creativity, and early years practice.

This is a full-time maternity position starting in January 2026 until July 2026, ideal for a confident EYFS teacher looking to embed themselves in a supportive school community.

About the Role

You will lead a Nursery class with a strong team of early years staff, delivering a rich, play-based curriculum that nurtures early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social development. You will also contribute to outdoor learning and oracy development in line with the school's EYFS priorities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to lead a team, manage routines, and maintain high-quality provision

This role requires a full enhanced DBS and two professional references covering the last two years. A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential.
