Job summary

All Together Education Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Teacher for an Islington primary school, starting January 2027 to cover maternity leave.

You will join the Early Years team as an EYFS practitioner, delivering play-based learning, ensuring a safe, inclusive nursery environment, and tracking children's development to plan next steps.

Qualifications

• UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent Nursery or EYFS teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• The right to work in the UK.

Salary: Inner London MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

A welcoming and successful primary school in Islington is seeking an experienced Nursery Teacher to join its Early Years team from January 2027.

The successful candidate will be a confident and enthusiastic EYFS practitioner with a strong understanding of early child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

The role will involve:

• Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive Nursery environment
• Assessing children's development and planning appropriate next steps
• Supporting children with a range of learning and developmental needs
