Nursery Teacher - (NG2)

Location: West Bridgford, Nottingham

Start Date: January 2026

Pay Rate: £120-£150 per day

Education Personnel is supporting a well-regarded nursery in the NG2 West Bridgford area as they seek a warm, creative and committed Nursery Teacher to join their team. This welcoming early years setting offers a rich, play-based environment with spacious indoor learning zones, a well-equipped outdoor area, and a strong focus on child-led exploration and emotional development.

This role is ideal for a Nursery Teacher with a genuine passion for early years, confident in furthering early communication, independence and social skills. You will work as part of a dedicated, skilled team who value positive relationships, high-quality interactions and a nurturing atmosphere for children aged 3-4.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Planning and delivering imaginative, developmentally appropriate activities for 3-4-year-olds
  • Creating a warm, engaging and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and curiosity
  • Completing observations, contributing to learning journals and tracking children's progress
  • Collaborating closely with early years practitioners and key workers to ensure consistent support
  • Building strong relationships with parents and carers through daily communication
  • Promoting early literacy, early maths and communication through stories, songs and play
  • Upholding EYFS standards, safeguarding responsibilities and all relevant nursery policies
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
  • Solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early years child development
  • Prior experience working in nursery or early years settings (school nursery or private nursery)
  • A patient, caring and child-centred approach to teaching and learning
  • Ability to plan creative activities that promote holistic development
