Location: Hertfordshire area
Contract: Ongoing (Immediate start)
Hours: Full-time or part-time options available
Pay: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Nursery Teacher (QTS or equivalent) to join a welcoming, inclusive, and values‑led two‑form entry primary school located in a supportive community on the outskirts of town.

The school is proud of its diverse and caring environment, where children are eager to learn, staff are collaborative, and families are highly engaged. Guided by a strong moral ethos, the school is committed to helping every child 'be their best' — academically, socially, and personally.

You will teach a Nursery class of 26 children, working across morning and afternoon sessions. The role offers the chance to deliver a creative and engaging EYFS curriculum that inspires curiosity, independence, and a love of learning from the very start of each child's educational journey.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent early years teaching qualification
  • Have recent experience within an EYFS or Nursery setting
  • Demonstrate a nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Be committed to inclusive practice and supporting every child to achieve their full potential
  • Be available to start immediately
In return, the school offers:
  • A warm, positive, and collaborative working environment
  • Supportive leadership and dedicated colleagues
  • Motivated and well‑behaved pupils who enjoy learning
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a community‑focused school where staff and pupils truly “learn, love, and grow together.”

Visits are warmly encouraged.
