Nursery Teacher

Location: North-West Leeds
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience)

The nursery provision offers a nurturing, play-based environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore. The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Nursery Teacher to lead learning within our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The ideal candidate will bring passion, energy, and a deep understanding of early childhood development to inspire our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, child-centred learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework
  • Create a stimulating environment that supports exploration, independence, and early learning
  • Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families
  • Lead and work closely with Early Years practitioners and support staff
  • Support children's personal, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety practices are consistently upheld
The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working in EYFS, ideally within a nursery or foundation stage setting

The school are looking to meet potential candidates and introduce them to the team and the pupils at a convenient time between now and the Xmas Break. This can be informally outside of standard school hours if required.
