The Role

As our Nursery Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate high‑quality, engaging early years learning experiences for children aged 2–4, in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Foster secure, supportive relationships with children and their families, ensuring that each child feels safe, valued, and eager to learn.

  • Collaborate with Nursery staff, school leaders, and colleagues across the school to design a curriculum that supports children’s development across all domains.

  • Use assessment effectively to identify children’s needs and ensure every child makes strong progress.

  • Promote our school values in all aspects of your work and contribute to creating an inclusive, caring, creative classroom environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who…
  • Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in Nursery/EYFS settings.

  • Is skilled in building early literacy, numeracy, communication and social skills in young children.

  • Understands the importance of play‑based learning and is confident using a range of strategies to motivate and extend learning.

  • Has strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds.

  • Is reflective, resilient, proactive, and able to adapt their practice for the benefit of the children.
