Job summary

Zohorecruit is recruiting on behalf of a Maidenhead nursery for an experienced Room Leader who will take on Third in Charge responsibilities. The role runs a four-day week with start times around 7:30–7:45 and a 6:00pm finish, with a salary of circa £30k depending on experience.

You will lead a room, ensure high-quality care and learning, and support safeguarding, EYFS knowledge, and Ofsted compliance across the setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
• Minimum 1 year's experience leading a room in a nursery or early years setting.
• Knowledge of child development, EYFS, and safeguarding.
• Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences within your room and the wider nursery setting.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues in the nursery setting.
