Qualifications

  • Essential: Full Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
  • Essential: Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years.
  • Desirable: Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position.
  • Desirable: Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations.
  • Essential: Knowledge of EYFS regulatory requirements.
  • Essential: Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Provide stimulating experiences and resources for children.
  • Enhance children's physical and emotional development.
  • Assist with updating child learning journals.
  • Promote respect and act as a role model.
  • Maintain records on EyMan system.

Skills

Full Level 3 qualification in Childcare
Experience working in Early Years
Knowledge of Ofsted expectations
Knowledge of EYFS statutory framework
Fluency in written and spoken English
