Job summary

Flow Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Nursery Room Leader for a bespoke nursery setting in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on the day-to-day running of a room, staff development, and delivering stimulating learning experiences for children.

The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and must pass an enhanced DBS check, ensuring a safe, happy environment for all children in care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent is required.
• Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken.
• Experience in training and developing other staff.
• Ability to create a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the allocated nursery room.
• Support staff with learning and development activities.
• Ensure high standards of care and safety for all children.
• Engage with parents to communicate progress and needs.

Nursery Room Leader

A qualified nursery room leader responsible for the day to day running of an allocated area or room within the nursery. You must be NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent. An important role in training and developing staff by imparting knowledge and skills. You will be required to ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. You will also need to have a sound understanding of a child’s developmental requirements and to provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet children’s all round development. Successful Nursery Room Leader will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
