Job summary

A childcare organization in Strood is seeking experienced Room Leaders for their new nursery. The ideal candidates will have a Level 3 NVQ or higher in Childcare & Education, strong leadership skills, and a thorough knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Responsibilities include managing nursery operations, supporting staff, and maintaining high standards of care. Qualifications

We are seeking to appoint two experienced Room Leaders to manage our Brand New Little Thinkers Nurserysetting atAll Faiths Children’s Academy.

As Room Leadersyou will play a crucial role in promoting high standards within our nursery and supporting staff in their daily duties, providing guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth.

Our Room Leaderswill ensure the effective implementation of the Nursery Keyperson Procedures and allocate children to key workers appropriately, whilst adhering to therequirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage for practice and provision.You will deploy staff appropriately to ensure standards are consistently met and maintained within the rooms.

Our Room Leaders will :

• Hold a Level 3 NVQ or above in Childcare & Education.
• Experience as a Room Leader / Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• A solid knowledge of the EYFS.
• Impeccable interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with parents / carers and provide relevant feedback about their child's progress.
• Foster open, positive working relationships with all staff members.
• Actively promote the Nursery to current parents and potential customers.
• Committed to the safeguarding of all children in the nursery and your direct care.
