About our Nursery

Busy Bees Cheltenham, located on Prestbury Road, is a rated Good by Ofsted nursery with a capacity of 64 children. It is a strong and progressive centre committed to providing families with the best care and stimulating environments. Our hardworking team is dedicated to ensuring that the children in their care receive the best start in life. We have access to a local library and two parks within the community, and we often visit the local care home to foster connections. Conveniently located just a 10‑minute walk from the town centre, we benefit from bus routes that link to various parts of Cheltenham, including a direct route to the centre, as well as local shops within a five‑minute walking distance. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of age‑appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
  • Foster a high‑performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
  • Oversee the development and well‑being of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
  • Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Ideal Candidate
  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager, or Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families.
