Axcis Education are supporting a beautiful countryside nursery on the edge of Torquay, who are seeking a dedicated Preschool Room Leader to join their amazing team.

About the Role:

• Salary range: £2.69-£15.50 p/h
• Hours: 8.15‑17.15 with flexibility on some days
• Full‑time position, option to work 4 or 5 days a week
• Start: In November/December 2025
• Opportunity to join a supportive team
• Consecutive 'Outstanding Ofsted' inspections

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and supporting your team to ensure high‑quality care and education
• Overseeing the safeguarding of children
• Implementing and reviewing learning plans
• Providing strong leadership to promote positive relationships within the team
• Ensuring that all nursery policies and procedures are followed

About You:

• Responsible for managing and supporting staff in the room
• Leadership helps maintain a nurturing environment where children can thrive
• Minimum 12 months experience as a nursery practitioner
• Experience working in a childcare setting with strong leadership skillsMust be able to drive or be able to be dropped off
• Passion for working with children and helping them flourish
