Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to work in the Toddler Room at this lovely nursery in Vauxhall. This is a permanent and full‑time Room Leader position to work Monday‑Friday, 40‑45 hours per week.

Responsibilities

As a Toddler Room Leader, you will be leading a team of Early Years Practitioners within the room, as well as working with your own key children to support their development, observing and keeping reports of their progress. Your responsibilities will also include planning exciting and engaging activities, ensuring safeguarding procedures are always followed in the room, and building strong relationships with colleagues and parents/carers. This nursery has a focus on hands‑on, self‑directed, collaborative play to help children develop and grow, so you will also be encouraging child‑led play!

Qualifications

For this Toddler Room Leader position it is essential that you hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a leader or senior practitioner with leadership skills within a nursery.
