Pre-School Room Lead - Home From Home Nursery & Pre-school (Surrey)

Home From Home Nursery & Pre-school is a nurturing, family-run childcare provider with locations across Surrey (Walton-on-Thames, Woking, New Haw, and soon Molesey). We offer a unique, home-like environment and a bespoke, play-based curriculum focused on emotional wellbeing and child development.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pre‑School Room Lead to join our dedicated team. You will lead our pre‑school room, supporting children aged 3‑5 years in a warm, flexible, and creative setting. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of early years practitioners in the pre‑school room
• Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities
• Support children's independence, self‑regulation, and confidence
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health, and safety
• Track developmental progress and contribute to our home‑grown curriculum

About You

• Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification (essential)
• Experience working with children aged 3‑5 in a nursery or pre‑school setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of EYFS and play‑based learning
• Passion for emotional wellbeing and a nurturing approach
• Paediatric first aid (preferred)
