Overview

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and caring Nursery Practitioners to join well-established nurseries in the Bishop s Stortford and wider Hertfordshire area. If you are passionate about working with children and supporting their early years development, we d love to hear from you.

This is a full-time position, with part-time opportunities also available for the right candidates.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 0 5 years

• Support children s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote curiosity, learning, and creativity

• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

• Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children at all times

• Maintain accurate records of children s development and progress

• Work effectively as part of a team to provide high-quality childcare

• Uphold all safeguarding, equality, and inclusion policies

What We re Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or working towards)

• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
