Job summary

Family First’s Ellingham House Day Nursery in Ringwood is seeking a Level3 Nursery Practitioner to nurture young minds in a warm, safe setting. You will deliver high‑quality early years care, plan engaging activities aligned with the EYFS, and work with a supportive team to support each child’s development.

A DBS check will be required for all posts, and the group is committed to safeguarding and equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Over 1 year of experience in Early Years (desirable).
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulatory requirements (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Ensure each child’s individual needs are met with high‑quality care and education in a safe environment.
• Observe, assess and plan engaging early years activities tailored to each child.
• Collaborate with the team and remain flexible to develop new skills.
• Follow company policies and procedures, and review health and safety matters.
• Support the holistic development of children across physical, cognitive, social and emotional domains.

As Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Ensurethat each child’s individual needs are met and a high standard ofprofessional care and education is delivered in a caring, safe and secureenvironment in which all children can play, learn and develop
  
• Observe,assess and plan an interesting, stimulating and challenging range of earlyyears activities which supports each child’s individual learning anddevelopment needs and abilities
  
• Engageas a professional member of the team, exhibiting a flexible attitude andwillingness to develop new skills
  
• Ensurethat company policies and procedures are read, applied, reviewed regularlyand adhered to by all
  
• Followrisk assessments diligently and report all health and safety matters to management

As Nursery Practitioner, you will need:

• Fluentin written and spoken English - essential
  
• Over1 years’ experience of working in Early Years - desirable
  
• Knowledgeof the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements -desirable.
