A local nursery is seeking a dedicated staff member to work with children aged 9 months to 4 years. Flexibility in working hours is required, given the nursery's operating hours from Monday to Friday. Candidates must have their own transport, as public transport does not reach the location.
We are looking for a member of staff to join our busy nursery. We are based on the army barracks at Thorney Island, in a quiet location. The role would be to work with children from age 9 months to 4 years, along with primary school age children before and after school.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated member of staff, who holds a full and relevant childcare qualification. The successful candidate needs to be able to work on their own initiative as well as work as part of a team, showing flexibility while working with all age groups. They must be reliable and trustworthy and have a real passion for working with children, providing them with activities to meet their individual needs.
Working hours will be on a shift basis to cover our opening hours. We are open from 7.30-5.30 Monday to Thursday and 7.30-3 on Friday (term time only). All staff are expected to work both the early and lates during the working week.
Experience and qualifications will reflect in the salary offered.
The successful candidate must have their own transport, as public transport does not come onto Thorney Island.
