Job summary

Busy Bees Milton Keynes Oldbrook is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will help create a safe, stimulating environment and support children’s growth and learning through EYFS-aligned activities.

As part of a supportive team, you’ll take on the Key Person role, building strong family connections and guiding individual development. Level 3 EYFS qualification and experience with under-5s are preferred, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Experience working with children under 5 and genuine interest in early childhood education.
• Proven communication and organisational skills and ability to apply knowledge of child development.

Responsibilities

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment and prepare materials for children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities aligned with the EYFS to support development.
• Act as Key Person, overseeing individual children's development and family connections.

Role Responsibilities:

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

Required Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
