Job summary

Busy Bees is the UK's leading nursery group, located in Loudwater, offering a warm, 85-place nursery for children 3 months to 5 years. The role requires Level 3 childcare qualification and prior leadership in early years settings.

  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

About Our Nursery

Located in Loudwater, our warm and welcoming 85-place day nursery cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years across 5 age‑specific rooms, from Babies through to Preschool.

Our nursery provides a calming environment for both children and staff, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery including a nearby river walkway – perfect for a relaxing lunch break. Staff and children also enjoy seeing and feeding the ducks in the local area.

What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner

What We’re Looking For
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
  • Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
