Busy Bees Nurseries is hiring an Early Years Practitioner to support the intellectual, social and emotional growth of children within our Busy Bees setting. You will contribute to a nurturing, high-quality learning environment and implement the Bee Curious curriculum.

The role focuses on planning and delivering activities for under-5s, building partnerships with families, and ensuring children's wellbeing and safety in daily routines.

• Excellent communication skills, with clear and positive interactions with children and families.
• Strong organisational abilities to manage activities and rooms.
• Understanding of child development principles and EYFS to plan engaging activities.

About Our Nursery

Busy Bees Day Nursery at Bristol Barrs Court, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 116 children aged 0.2 to 5.11 years and is part of the well-regarded Busy Bees chain. Located at Stoneleigh Drive, Barrs Court, Oldland, South West BS30 7EJ, our nursery is ideally situated in South Gloucestershire, near Bristol, making it convenient for families in the surrounding regions. What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
