About our Nursery

Busy Bees Ashford Godinton, rated Good by Ofsted, is a beautiful purpose-built nursery located within the secure grounds of Godinton Primary School, accommodating 108 children. Our facility features six spacious and airy rooms, each tailored to specific age groups, complete with their own secure outdoor environments. We have a large, longstanding team dedicated to providing children with the best start in life and maintain a fabulous relationship with the local school. Conveniently situated in the Godinton estate, we have close links to the local bus service, with the nearest bus stop just two minutes away, and are a 30‑minute walk from the town centre. Additionally, we are well‑connected to local rail links, the M20, A2, and other motorways. We offer free parking for staff and flexible working days, creating a supportive and accessible environment for educators.

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner
  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
What We're Looking For
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
  • Skills: Good communication capability, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
