Duties

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, within the nursery
• Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities
• Supervise and engage with children, through play
• Monitor and ensure the well‑being of each child in the nursery
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities, through conversation and the Tapestry Learning Journal

Experience

• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting, is preferred
• Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for children
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to work as part of a strong team and collaborate with other nursery practitioners
