Job summary

Ark Ayrton Primary and Nursery is offering a 36-hour apprenticeship scheme in the nursery, with a rota from 7.30 am to 5.00 pm, term-time only, fully funded. The apprenticeship lasts about 15 months and aims to achieve an NVQ level 3 during this period.

Applicants must be 17 or over to qualify for Government funding and be able to study and carry out daily nursery duties. You will work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a professional and friendly manner at all times.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent will be completed during the apprenticeship.
• Candidates must be 17 or older to qualify for government funding.
• Able to commit to daily duties and study within the nursery.

Job description

Ark Ayrton Primary and Nursery are looking to support an enthusiastic applicant on an apprenticeship scheme working 36 hours within the nursery (a rota operates between 7.30 am – 5.00 pm) which will include training time. Term time only. The apprenticeship is fully funded and will commence as soon as possible and will last for approximately 15 months, the successful applicant will be expected to complete an NVQ level 3 within this time.

You must be 17 or over to qualify for Government funding and be able to commit to study and daily duties within the nursery. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a professional and friendly manner at all times. A training wage of £288 per week is offered to support candidates.
