Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early years and a passion for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development and learning through play-based activities. This position will be term time only, 38 weeks per year. Monday to Friday. Pay will be based on knowledge and experience.

Requirements;
  • Relevant qualification in Early Years Level 3.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on best practices in early childhood education.
Duties;
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual learning journeys.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective management of the nursery setting.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
