Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for nursery settings across Bolton. This role offers flexible hours—full-time or part-time—with ongoing supply contracts and an immediate start.

You will support children’s early development, create stimulating activities, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment in line with EYFS guidelines. DBS and safeguarding checks are required, with references and overseas checks where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursery settings and understanding of EYFS requirements.
• Sound safeguarding awareness and DBS checks may be required.
• Ability to provide references and explain employment gaps.

Responsibilities

• Support children in early development through engaging activities.

Are you passionate about supporting children in their early development? We are looking for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join nursery settings across Bolton. You'll play a key role in creating stimulating activities, promoting learning through play, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent


• Previous experience in nursery or early years settings


• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework


• Safeguarding & Compliance: All candidates must complete an Enhanced DBS check, provide professional references, and meet safeguarding requirements, including overseas police checks where applicable.


• Your CV should detail the last 10 years of employment history with explanations for any gaps.


• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and attend a registration interview.
