Overview
Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development across all areas of learning.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to developmental records and sharing feedback with parents and carers.
  • Support individual needs, including children with additional or special educational needs.
  • Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment.
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and social skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to team development and the smooth running of the setting.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable).
