What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about giving children the best start in life? We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early years team at Pebbles Nursery (part of White Cliffs Primary and Nursery School). In this role, you will provide high-quality care and education for children aged 2-4 years old, creating a safe, stimulating environment that supports learning and development. You’ll plan and deliver engaging activities, observe and record progress, and work closely with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure every child thrives. A passion for childcare, strong communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding are essential. If you’re enthusiastic, caring and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Weekly Hours: 32.5

Working 8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday

These hours are inclusive of a half an hour lunch break.

Please note, this role is for a fixed term contract, terminating on 31 December 2026.

Our creative curriculum is enhanced by a wide variety of extracurricular clubs and activities offered throughout the year which include sports clubs, craft, arts, dance, and gardening club. We also run a very popular Breakfast Club and Care After School Time (CAST) facility.
