We offer short/long term placements on a temporary and permanent basis for specialist SEN teachers, teaching assistants, support workers, social workers, VI/HI practitioners and mid-day meal supervisors

8:00am- 4:00pm - Mon Fri

Act as a "key person" for a small group of children, building positive relationships and monitoring their progress towards developmental targets.

We are looking for potential candidates that have experience with children that have a diagnosis of Autism or complex social and communication needs (CSCN).

  • Have at least 6 months working with children between the ages of 2-4 years old
  • Have a clear DBS registered to the update service
  • Be available Monday-Friday - 5 days a week
  • Be able to work between 8am-4pm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Calm and caring nature
  • Good organizational skills
Main duties:
  • Capability to lift children and equipment.
  • Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning environments and activities.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, such as the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework in the UK.
  • In-depth knowledge of children's emotional, physical, and intellectual needs.
  • Staying calm in stressful situations and understanding that children develop at different rates.
  • Being open to change and responsive to children's interests and needs.
  • To determine the need for, prepare and maintain general and specialist and equipment and resources
